Frequently asked questions
Is it really free to edit a PDF here?
Yes. Editing and downloading are free, with no watermark and no signup.
Can I change text that is already in the PDF?
Yes. Choose Edit text, click a line and type. On download the old words are removed from the file and your new text is drawn in the same place, in the original font when it has the characters you typed, otherwise in the same or a matching Google font. This works on PDFs of up to 5 pages; on longer files the edited line is covered instead.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
Adding text, images, signatures and drawings happens in your browser. When you change text that was already in the PDF, the file is sent to our server once to replace it, then deleted. Nothing is stored.
Can I edit a PDF on my phone?
Yes. editor works in mobile browsers on iPhone and Android, with no app to install.
Will editing change my PDF’s quality?
No. Your pages are kept as they are. Only the lines you change are redrawn, and anything you add is saved into the same file.
Can I edit a password-protected PDF?
Not yet. Remove the password first, then open the PDF in editor.
