Frequently asked questions

Can I draw freehand on a PDF?

Yes. Use Draw (the pen) and draw with your mouse, trackpad or finger. Strokes are smoothed automatically.

Can I highlight text?

Yes. Use Highlight and drag across the text. You can choose from several highlighter colours.

Can I cover or hide text with a shape?

You can place White-out or a filled shape over content to hide it visually. This does not remove the text underneath, so don’t use it for sensitive data that must be deleted.

Can I change the colour of shapes?

Yes. Select a shape to change its colour, fill, line thickness and opacity.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. Draw with your finger in any mobile browser.
