Frequently asked questions

How much smaller will my PDF get?

It depends on what is inside. PDFs with photos or scans shrink the most: Recommended (150 dpi images) often saves around half, Strong (96 dpi) more. PDFs that are mostly text are usually small already.

Will my text still be selectable?

Yes. editor shrinks images and fonts but keeps the text, so you can still select and search it.

Are my files stored?

No. The PDF is sent to our server to be compressed, returned to you, and deleted. Nothing is kept.

Is there a size limit?

Yes. Compression works on PDFs up to 30 MB and 100 pages.
